It has all the signs of a quality-built stove, with its traditional Clockwork controls, and thick toughened construction. The Sudbury is aimed for the more contemporary consumer base. A sunken fire bed means the flame pattern always fills the view through the large glass door. The simple pull door makes for a very satisfying feel as you close its casing. The large magnet ensures that the door on closing creates an airtight seal, adding to the effect for this wonderfully engineered piece of equipment. I would not be surprised to see this model winning many of the Clock family of awards.
